Schedule an appointment to bring your item(s) by our office located at 2323 Executive St Charlotte, NC 28208


Have us come by and pick up your item(s) for $10! Our pickup days are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 am- 4 pm. We are currently servicing all ZIP codes in Mecklenburg county.

Once we receive your item(s) our team of experts inspects, cleans, sanitizes, and photographs your item(s) to get them ready to be listed on our website for other parents to buy! If your item sells, there will be a 7 day window from when the buyer receives the item to when your payout will be available. You'll receive a link from our secure third-party payment platform, Dots to collect your payout.
Any fees owed will be taken from your payout.

Product requirements for consignment

We only accept items that we believe is appropriate for resale on our website. We reserve the right to accept or reject an item for any reason, but generally to be accepted please see the following:

  • Due to health and safety reasons we do not accept the following:
  • Products that have been recalled recalled; voluntarily or mandatory
  • Any items that is older than 7 years
  • Products that are missing their serial number or manufacture dates; product tags and stickers must be attached to the product
  • Any item that may be deemed too dirty; items must be clean or require light cleaning. No caked-on messes, dried food, or bodily fluids
  • Single items that were previously a part of a set or system
  • Product that have an odor
  • Products that may be missing essential parts or pieces
  • Electronics must be in working order
  • Products with major holes, rips, stains, marks, or anything that compromises the intergrity of the product
  • *We do not accept Cybex, Bugaboo, Infantino, Peg Perego, any "off-brand" products*

How do I get paid?

You can get your payment sent directly to your bank account, or get a 5% increase in your payout if you choose a Stork Exchange gift card!
Stork Exchange utilizes a secure third-party payment software called Dots, You can read Dots Privacy Policy here. When your item sells you'll receive a link to collect your payment, from there you can deposite your payout directly into your bank account, or transfer it to Paypal, Venmo, or Cash App.

To honor our return policy your payout will be available 7 days after the buyer receives the item.

How do you determine the price of my item?

Our experts use an algorithm that looks at the MSRP, condition of the item, comparable items, and other necessary information to make sure you’re getting the maximum payout!

How much can I be expected to be paid once my item sells?

Fee list

Stork Exchange reserves the right to charge a fee based on the following;
Battery/charging fee - Any item that is brought to us that does not have working batteries or is not charged at the time of your appointment will be subject to a $5 battery fee that will be taken from your payout.
Cleaning fee -All of our items are washed and sanitized before going live on our website, however, for those heavier soiled items we charge a cleaning fee anywhere from $5-$20; Cleaning fees are based on how much time and effort our experts put towards cleaning a product. Fees will be taken from your payout.
Assembly fee - For items that require assembly a $5 fee will be taken from your payout if the item is not assembled at the time of your appointment.

Price Drop

We reserve the right to drop the price by up to 50% over the remaining 90 days of the consignment period.

I live outside of your service area, can I still consign my item?

Unfortunately, at this time we are only accepting items that are local to Charlotte, NC. Keep checking back to see when we'll be expanding to your area!

I’ve changed my mind! How do I get my item back?

Please reach out to us to start the return process! You will be charged a $10 fee if you decide you want your items back before the consignment period is up. All items must be picked up from our office located at 2323 Executive St Charlotte, NC 28208, we are open Monday through Friday 10 am-4 pm.
Seller will still be responsible for any fees owed if they request their items back before the 180 day mark.

My item didn’t sell, now what?

We’re sorry your item didn’t sell! After the consignment period has ended you can pick your items up at our office located at 2323 Executive St Charlotte, NC 28208, we are open Monday through Friday 10 am-4 pm.
