Unlike other resale sites, we don't sell used gear from other parents. We partner with top brands and retailers to bring their returned and overstock baby gear directly to you.

What is overstock?

These are brand-new items that never made it to the sales floor, often due to excess inventory, seasonal transitions, or packaging updates. Every piece is unused, safe, and ready for your baby.

What are certified returns?

These are previously purchased items that have been returned, are carefully inspected by our team and certified for safety and functionality. Only products that meet our high standards are sold on Stork Exchange.

How We Inspect It

Every product we list is fully unboxed and inspected by our trained operations team to ensure it meets our Stork Certified standards for safety and quality. So you can shop for your little one with total confidence.

Each item undergoes a detailed inspection to confirm:

• ✔ Core functions operate smoothly and meet safety standards
• ✔ All components and accompanying accessories are present and intact
• ✔ Surfaces and materials are structurally sound, and any cosmetic wear is accurately graded
• ✔ Items are not expired or subject to any active safety recalls

The Car Seat Rule

Every car seat we sell is new with the tags attached.*

*Our single brand-approved exception is babyark. Because their seats never expire, we partner directly with the brand to offer fully certified open-box models. Each babyark undergoes an exclusive safety inspection to check for visual signs of crash detection—including ensuring the shells of the base are perfectly aligned and verifying the SafeCoil has not been activated or elongated by significant impact.

Every item we sell is carefully inspected, safety certified, and assigned a clear condition level, so you always know exactly what to expect. Every product is fully functional, includes all parts, and any imperfections are purely cosmetic.

We do not sell gear that is well-loved or missing parts.

• Pristine Like-new condition with little to no signs of handling. Fully functional, exceptionally clean, and as close to new as it gets.
• Excellent Light signs of handling or minimal wear, but fully functional and in beautiful condition. Any minor imperfections are purely cosmetic.
• Very Good Gear with more noticeable signs of handling or storage, such as light scuffs and marks. Fully functional, safety certified, and ready for your baby.
